AMV Company History AMV was formed in March, 2003. There were two driving factors in forming AMV, the rising costs of existing Gas Detection Manufactures Service groups and their unwillingness to service all products as required by the customer. AMV provides a professional service and calibration while keeping the cost of maintaining your equipment at a minimum. AMV represents many different Gas Detection Manufactures Instruments and Systems, making AMV your sole source in servicing your equipment. Experienced Field Engineers can provide everything from routine calibrations of existing equipment, to Applications of newly required monitoring. AMV’s Field Engineers have over fifty years of experience in Gas Monitoring. Meet our Partners and EngineersEd Arkin - Ed has been working in the Gas Monitoring Business since 1976 when he worked for Gas Tech Inc. and held such positions as Manufacturing Supervisor, Field Service Engineer IV (highest level) and Field Service Supervisor. Ed is also considered an “expert in the field of gas detection” by the County of Santa Clara and has contributed many findings and ideas of Gas Monitoring for the Toxic Guide Ordinance of Santa Clara County. Contact Ed by email. Chris Meshach - Chris has been working in the Service and Calibration Field since 1989 where he started working with Gas Tech Inc. He has managed some of the industries most “highest visible” customers and clients. He currently maintains the largest Gas Monitoring Fixed System in North America, and has several customers with single instrument applications. Chris epitomizes AMV’s mission of providing a professional service that adds value to the customer. Contact Chris by email. David Van Heurck - David has been working in the Gas Monitoring Field since 1995 were he started working for Thermo Gas Tech. He has held such positions as Applications Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Field Service Engineer, and Project Manager. David’s experience in Sales and Service provides the customer flexibility in maintaining their systems and instruments. David has led installations of large and small fixed monitoring to comply with industry standards and agency compliance. These services along with Sales Representation allows AMV to provide sole source Gas Monitoring Services.
