Calibration Service

Service, alarm checking, possible repairs, calibration test and
certificate for fixed, portable or personal gas detectors at your site
with our portable testing equipments and span gases. System
maintenance carried out in accordance with an annual maintenance
agreement (usually two or four visits per annum are standard). AMV’s
service engineers are available to travel to your site to diagnose,
adjust, calibrate, and repair your gas alarm systems. For Preventative
Maintenance or Routine Service visits, please schedule 3 weeks in

Start Up Service

AMV’s field service engineers will travel to the
customer’s site for initial system checkout and startup. The
equipment must be installed, wired, and have sampling tubing in place
prior to the field service engineer's arrival. Please note that the
field service engineer is not responsible for re-tubing or re-wiring
or for performing installation corrections. For Startup Assistance
visits, please schedule 3 weeks in advance. To schedule, call for

and County 'Live" Gas Alarm Testing

AMV’s service engineers are available to travel to your site for the
city and county "live gas" annual or system startup
inspections.. For Alarm Testing, schedules must be
preplanned for the inspectors availability and everything must be in
good operating condition ready for the inspection. To schedule, call

- Training and Education

AMV’s service engineers are available to provide on-site training in
system operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting to customer
maintenance personnel. Attendants will receive an in-depth manual and
hands-on review of equipment. We recommend keeping class sizes to 12

- Emergency Call Outs, Repairs or Faults

Emergency Service refers to a maintenance call to repair, replace or
calibrate a sensor(s) that failed (and not check false alarms). All
actual gas alarms must be cleared before a service technician can go
on site.
